3. How We Share Your Information
We share information only as necessary:

4. SMS/Text Messaging
If you opt in to text messages, HandyHands209 sends booking-related transactional SMS notifications such as booking confirmations, appointment reminders, pro on-the-way and arrival updates, schedule changes and cancellations, and (for Freelancers) service bookings, assignment updates, and payout notifications. Opt-in occurs via an unchecked-by-default consent checkbox during account signup (for both customers and service professionals), or later from the notification settings in your account, and your phone number is verified with a one-time passcode before notifications are enabled. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
- Message frequency varies based on your account and booking activity.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP at any time to cancel and HELP for help. You can also manage notification preferences in your account settings.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with, or sold to, any third parties or affiliates under any circumstances. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted; all other use-case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent.
See our SMS Disclosure for the full program terms.
5. Data Retention
We keep your information only as long as necessary for the purposes described above or as required by law. After a service is completed, we retain records for accounting, dispute resolution, and legal compliance.
